Latin scholars, Roman history buffs, and those who are Italian at heart will embark on a journey to Italy during spring break. About 25 students will spend a week experiencing the marvelous remnants of the ancient world. “It will be the trip of a lifetime,” says Mr. Lazos. “Students will be able to walk where Caesars have walked!” The itinerary includes a hike on Mt. Vesuvius, a walk through the frozen city of Pompeii, a tour of the Vatican, a visit to the Isle of Capri, a tour of the Coliseum, and countless other fragments of the ancient world.
