Edwardian Improves on Last Year's Success

Written by Pat Dowling '11 on October 29, 2009.

After having no returning members from the 2008 Edwardian yearbook and losing the club moderator, the year- book staff had their work cut out for them to produce a respectable publication. Besides lacking manpower and experience, the yearbook staff got a late start. But in the end, through hard work and dedication by editor Mike Manno and moderator Mr. Tom Glasenapp, along with the few committed staff members, the 2009 yearbook surpassed the splendor of past yearbooks.

This year, the yearbook staff has grown exponentially and is ready to improve the book yet again. Production of the book has gone online through Herff Jones, Inc, which offers many more tools and techniques for yearbook design. Plans for the 2010 edition include school wide surveys and personal profiles. The staff will strive to include everyone in the year- book.

As staff member Ian Cairns put it, “This yearbook is going to be even better than last year’s book. Herff Jones representative Ryan Smas helped us design the cover which displays the collaged eagle from the final issue of the Edsman last year.”

The current price of the yearbook is $60, but it will become $70 after December 17. Order forms are available at the receptionist’s desk or in the Kahl Publications Office. As those of you who purchased the yearbook last year know, this is truly a wonderful publication and a great way to remember your high school experience.
