Catholic Schools for Peace and Justice, also known as CSPJ, is an extra- curricular group at St. Ed’s that donates their time without counting service hours. In the upcoming month of November, CSPJ has several highly anticipated envi- ronmental awareness events they will be attending.

On next Thursday, November 5, the Cleveland Convention Center will hold the Bioneers Conference. The Bioneers Conference is a national conference with additional regional conferences whose goal is to challenge students to “live on Earth in ways that honor the web of life, each other, and future generations.” That Friday, CSPJ will attend the Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. Later in the month of November, CSPJ will get ready for the annual St. Edward Fair Trade Week with some new additions this year. Heartbeats, 10,000 villages, and IRTF are all groups that will be returning this year.
