Written by Jonathan Lacoste '11 on September 20, 2009.

St. Edward welcomed many new faculty members this year. Ms. Janine Stursa, who is teaching English I, is in her second year of education. She graduated from John Carroll in 2008 with a major in English literature. Ms. Stursa attended high school at Lorain Catholic, where she played tennis and ran track.

In the Religion Department, Mr. Liam Haggerty, a St. Ed’s graduate and former Man of the Year, is teaching Disciples of Jesus. While at St. Ed’s, Mr. Haggerty ran track, was a member of the Edsman and Flight, and was also a Eucharistic Minister. Mr. Haggerty recently received his Masters of Divinity from Yale University.

Finally, Mr. Casey Yandek is St. Ed’s newest associate principal. He hails from Archbishop Hoban where he was an English teacher and an associate principal. He graduated from John Carroll and then went to the University of Notre Dame for his Masters Degree.
